Employment Law Services
Employees
We represent individual employees bringing claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation and related claims against private and government employers on the bases of race, color, national origin, sex, gender, family status and responsibilities, disability, request for and use of protected leave, religion, sect, political affiliation, military service, and genetic information. Our services are client-centered and trauma-informed. We are unyielding about the rights employees have to work free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. We remain current on developments in the law that establish and guard these rights, and take special interest in helping to define and strengthen these laws.
Employers
We provide advice and counsel to employers who seek proactively to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws governing equal employment opportunity, wages and hours, employee benefits, family and medical leave, workplace safety, and immigration compliance. This includes developing, reviewing, revising, and monitoring company policies and procedures; providing workplace trainings for management, employees, and human resources and communications teams to help implement and sustain lawful and best practices; and conducting internal investigations, departmental surveys, and exit interviews. We routinely monitor legal developments that apply to our clients' workplaces and are known for providing clear counsel and working with employers to navigate workplace dynamics thoughtfully and carefully.
Immigration Law Services
We provide legal services for individuals seeking to enter, live in, work in, and become citizens of the United States, including humanitarian relief (refugee and asylum status) applications, non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications, permanent residency (Green Card) applications, representation in deportation proceedings, motions to re-open or reconsider and appeals of denied immigration applications, and applications for citizenship and naturalization.
