Policies, Procedures, Handbooks

We develop, review, revise, and monitor company policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure that they comply with federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, employee benefits, family and medical leave, workplace safety, and immigration compliance laws.  The implementation of comprehensive policies lays the foundation for a smoothly-functioning workplace and reduces litigation risk.

Training for Management, Employees, Human Resources, and Communications Teams

We provide in-house training for management, employees, human resources, and communications teams to help implement and maintain best practices in support of company policies.  This helps reduce inadvertent and intentional violations of company policieshelps to set expectations for conduct in the workplace, supports legal defenses in the event of litigation, and reduces the overall cost and distraction that arise when workplace policies are not followed.

Internal Investigations, Departmental Surveys, and Exit Interviews

We conduct investigations for employers when employees complain internally of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in an effort to resolve these issues before they escalate further and address any non-compliance that may exist with regard to company policies.  We conduct departmental surveys when a department or group of employees is not functioning properly or when an unusual number of complaints are coming from a particular department.  We conduct exit interviews to help measure satisfaction and turnover.  In each of these instances, we provide unbiased written reports that help our clients make informed decisions about their workplace and workforce.
